Astro Origine is built on traditional astrology: every chart starts from the real positions of the planets, computed from the JPL ephemeris for your exact date, time and place of birth. Your free birth chart shows your classical planets, your ascendant and your houses in the Whole Sign system — the same framework used by Hellenistic astrologers.
Why the ascendant and Whole Sign houses matter
The ascendant anchors the chart to the horizon at your moment of birth, and the Whole Sign houses organise the twelve areas of life around it. Together they turn a list of planetary positions into a coherent, readable map you can actually reflect on. This is why a known birth time makes a reading richer — though the chart still works without it.

Frequently asked questions
Is the free birth chart calculated with my birth time?
Yes. When you provide your time of birth, we compute the ascendant and Whole Sign houses precisely. Without it, the chart is still calculated, but house and ascendant detail are omitted.
What if I don't know my exact birth time?
You can still calculate your chart: planetary signs and aspects remain valid. Only the ascendant and houses are set aside, and we say so clearly in the reading.
How is this different from modern astrology?
We use traditional, Hellenistic-compatible techniques — Whole Sign houses, sect, classical dignities — rather than modern psychological frameworks. Modern outer planets are shown separately.
Are the readings predictions?
No. Every reading is symbolic and reflective. We describe tendencies and cycles to consider, never guaranteed events, medical, legal or financial advice.
Is my birth data confidential?
Your birth details are used to calculate your chart and are not sold. You stay in control of what you save to your account.
Why use Whole Sign houses?
Whole Sign houses are the oldest and most robust house system: each sign is one house. They keep the reading clear and avoid the distortions some modern systems introduce at extreme latitudes.
